• Must be attending Texas A & M University or affiliates, Houston Baptist University, Sam Houston State University, Mississippi State University, University of Houston or affiliates, Rice University, Texas State University, Lone Star College, Blinn College, Houston Community College or any Military School
• Minimum GPA of 2.75 and explanation of extracurricular activities
• 1 to 2-page essay on what their goals are for college and their future
• 2 reference letters 1 by a teacher or counselor of Taylor, other 1 by choice of applicant
• Essays will be judged by 3-person panel
