Head Coach

Coach Plemons is in her 26th year of education and her 16th year at Taylor High School.

Coach Plemons began her career at FB Austin in 1998 where she taught English I and coached volleyball and track.  In 2008, she was hired at Taylor to teach girls PE and lead the volleyball program.  Two years later, she was named Assistant Athletic Coordinator.  In 2016, Coach Plemons made the difficult decision to step away from volleyball so that she could be present for her daughter's high school volleyball career, and at that time became an assistant track coach at Taylor.  Coach Plemons is now returning as the head volleyball coach and will lead the Mustangs program in the fall of 2024.

Coach Plemons is married to her husband, Josh, who is also a teacher and coach in Fort Bend ISD, and they reside in Sugar Land.  They have two children:  Sydney is 22 years old and is a senior at Texas A&M University, and Logan is 19 and is a freshman at Texas A&M University.

Coach Plemons won a high school state championship as a player in 1992 and went on to play at Texas A&M University.  She is a three-time District Coach of the Year, was selected to coach a GHVCA All-Star team in 2014, and is a director for the KISD/CFISD Varsity Volleyball Tournament, one of the largest high school volleyball tournaments in the state of Texas.
